I’m considering relocating to the Tampa Bay area and am wondering which city would be best to live in. My husband and I are both young, creative professionals. We enjoy hip nightlife spots, non-chain restaurants, and spending our money in locally owned businesses. Which city in Tampa Bay has the most urban feel? We’re not into the suburban sprawl scene, large roads lined with huge shopping plazas filled with big box stores.

Tampa. Ybor City is where people from all over the west coast of Florida come for night life. There are some condos and apartments in Channelside, which sounds like the kind of area you would like.
