Oregon Coast?

I recently posted a question about Eureka Ca. Due to the responses of that post my husband and I wanted to post questions about Oregon Coast. From Astoria to Newport. We will not have a vehicle, we bike rain or shine and use public transportation. We refuse to pay high dollar for cars or gas. Want a place that is big enough to support us but not Tampa Bay. We are both well suited for all types of jobs, currently I am a Front Desk Mgr at a beach resort and my husband is the Chief Engineer at the same property. We have both worked in the seafood industry, retail, production, restaurant etc. So unless there are just no jobs then we are fine. Looking for low maintenance are with no fluff. We want to be on Coast as we love the water and yes the weather also. Can anyone tell us if it has changed in the 8 years we have been gone. We both build furniture on the side for sale It has been along time since we have been there. Anyone have any information would be greatly appreciated.

Look around the Florence area; there are tons of restaurants to work at–I’m sure some of them are hiring. Cute little shops along the coast, for beads, fudge, you name it….a furniture shop would be attractive! I am sure you will be able to find a place there, in that beautiful area. Good luck!
