Do you live near or by Lakeland, Florida?
My buddy and I want to see the Detroit Tigers in Spring Training
I will be flying from Detroit to Tampa staying in Lakeland for 1 week March 7-14th.
My question: I have 3 hotels/motels on reserve for me right now. Which would you prefer a tourist like me to stay at? Why?
(two 21 year old males)
1.) Suburban Extended Stay-Lakeland
2.) Best Motel- Lakeland
3.) Relax Inn- Lakeland
* I know these aren’t the *nicest hotels in Lakeland but were college kids on a tight budget. What would you reccemend?

I am not familiar with any of those three hotels. Staying in Lakeland isn’t a bad idea, but you might want to consider staying in Tampa or Orlando since Lakeland isn’t too far away from either one (it is definitely closer to Tampa). I know that there isn’t too much to do in Lakeland other than catch the games and then get the hell out of there.
